Learn How To Surf The Web Faster, And The Beauty Of Using Tabs
I try to learn something new everyday. I alway like it when I can manage to learn something early in the day. Do my good deed and learn something early, then I'm done for the rest of the day.
So here we go.
If you do not have Mozilla Firefox loaded on your computer, please take the time and load it now. Oh, did you just ask what Mozilla Firefox is ??? Here is what Google says:
"Official site of the open-source browser. Includes product downloads, release notes, features overview, and information about switching from other browsers."
Firefox 1.5 has an intuitive interface and blocks viruses, spyware, and popup ads. It delivers Web pages faster than ever. And it’s easy to install and import your favorites. Packed with useful features like tabbed browsing, Live Bookmarks, and an integrated Search bar, Firefox will change the way you experience the Web, for the better. We can alway change for the better. It is fun learning and using new tools. To think, the internet has only been around since 1976 (well - kind of). Boy, it certainly opened a whole new world of things for us to discover. And now Firefox will help you blog with great ease.
Back to your lesson. You now have Firefox downloaded and you are ready for the next step.
Now you are ready to learn about using Tabs for browsing. First I would like you to open Firefox, type in Google on your browser bar, and hit enter. Look at the top of the tool bar, on the left side you will see that a tab has been opened. Now, here is the easy part, go to File, click on it, and click on New Tab. Go back to the address bar, type in an address. How about www.thewinningpitch.com? You have opened a new tab. You can keep opening new tabs and it will be an easy way to move around from tab to tab. Ready to learn more, fun and easy way to stay organized? Go to Bookmarks, mark bookmark all these tabs, and lo-in-behold, they are now all in one folder (I love to be organized).
I hope this was helpful. It was part of the blog training.
